We decided to just have a little party with our play date swap friends We had pizza and cupcakes then opened presents. Nothing to crazy but I think Callie had fun. I can't believe she is one now! she started walking 2 weeks before her birthday ( we call it the penguin waddle) Callie is quite the feisty one :0) she is a very determined independent baby. She does not want help with anything and is happiest when she can do her own thing. She loves to play with Hope's kitchen ( she will play forever by herself) she already knows how to fight back with her sister and loves to wrestle with her :0) She is very little and petite for her age ( at her 1 year check up she barely weighed 18 lbs) but nothing will stop her.... she wants to be a big girl ( we think she will probably be our athlete). She has such a fun, sweet, BIG personality and she brings so much joy to our family we love her SO MUCH!
Callie didn't quite know what to do when we all started singing to her. She just stared at everyone. She didn't eat all her cake but she had fun playing it ( until she got frosting in her eye) its never a fun party after that happens :0)
